With this painting, I wanted to express warmth and tenderness through the rich colors of a yellow and red rose.

My process is slow, intentional. I build each petal with delicate, translucent washes, colors blend and contrast in a way that feels both soft and striking. Layer by layer, the colors deepen, revealing the velvety textures. When you look closely, the forms almost melt into bold, abstract shapes.

This card is a reproduction of that original watercolor.
